Waterloo EMC Services can assist you to design with EMC compliance in mind. In this way the design that is first tested should, in most cases, be robust enough  to pass without modifications.

During the design process every attempt is made to share the reasoning for the recommendations, and provide sufficient detail that the next design could be done with minimal input.

 

Design Assistance, and Reviewing

Through an arrangement with Global EMC, full compliance testing can be provided at their fully accredited test facility in Richmond Hill.

The affiliated safety organization (TUV SUD Canada) can provide full Product Safety Evaluations and the TUV Mark for  Canada, the US, and other countries at the same location.

 

Testing Services

The goal of Waterloo EMC Services is to assist customers in correcting test failures in an economical and stable way.

The final solution should be a modification to the original design that is manufacturable , and repeatable with out having to seal the case tightly and filter all of the cables leaving the units case. The design needs to reduce the noise at its source, and prevent it from leaving the circuit that generates those frequencies.

Regulatory and Standards Updating

As an additional service to regular customers, Waterloo EMC Services will provide, at no-charge, information updates on many of the on-going changes to the standards and regulations that relate to their products and market area.

There are some limitations, as a number of countries only provide the information in their language, and there is not an accurate English translation available.
